So, what’s the job?
We’re looking for the first Solutions Engineer at Addressable, to own the technical onboarding experience for our advertising customers and ensure they move from deal signed → ads live → value realized as quickly and smoothly as possible.
As the first hire of its kind, you’ll have a unique opportunity to define what Solutions Engineering means at Addressable: setting standards, shaping processes, and building the foundation for how we scale onboarding and technical enablement over time.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Customer Success, Product, Sales, and Engineering to remove technical friction, guide customers through integrations, and continuously improve how onboarding works at scale.
You will:
- Lead technical onboarding for new customers, including pixel installation, Conversion API setup, and event-based tracking.
- Act as the technical escalation point during onboarding, troubleshooting integration and setup issues across customer environments.
- Partner closely with Customer Success to proactively drive customers forward and prevent onboarding delays.
- Own and improve the onboarding process from contract signature to first live campaign, helping define best practices as the company scales.
- Track onboarding performance metrics (e.g. time to first impression, first campaign, first conversion) and help drive improvements over time.
- Establish and maintain technical onboarding documentation and integration guides, setting the baseline for future Solutions Engineers.
- Use AI-assisted tools effectively for documentation and workflows, applying domain expertise to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering based on recurring onboarding friction and customer needs.
- Help shape the long-term vision for technical enablement and onboarding as Addressable grows.
Sounds great! Am I the right fit?
You’ll likely be a strong fit if you have:
- 4+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Sales Engineer, or similar role in AdTech, MarTech, or performance marketing platforms.
- Hands-on experience with pixels, Conversion APIs, SDKs, and event-based tracking.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and comfort operating in an ambiguous, early-stage environment where you’re building from scratch.
Strongest candidates will have:
- Familiarity with iGaming, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Experience with major advertising platforms or programmatic ecosystems.
- Experience contributing to onboarding flows, self-service enablement, or developer documentation.
- Interest in mentoring or helping scale a function over time as the team grows.
