Addressable is a fast-growing tech company building data products on top of large-scale on-chain and off-chain analytics - bridging the gap between blockchain activity and real-world entities. We're 50+ people across Tel Aviv, New York, and London.

So, what's the job?

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Engineering Team, working on products that turn billions of blockchain and social signals into actionable insights - across Web3 marketing and security. You'll design and build the services, APIs, and data flows behind the product end-to-end, from architecture to production, including the frontend touches a feature needs to actually ship.

Our stack is Python on AWS serverless-leaning, with Postgres, Redis, and a data lake at the core. AI is core to how we work, both as a daily development tool and as part of what we build into the product.

You're a product-oriented engineer who writes clean code, makes solid architectural decisions under uncertainty, and owns what you ship. You'll work alongside a small team of sharp engineers who do the same and move fast.

You will:

Lead the end-to-end design of features, from architecture through development to production
Build the services and APIs that power the product, partnering closely with adjacent teams on the contracts
Own the logic behind core product capabilities — with reliability, performance, and clean interfaces as defaults
Make architectural calls on data flow, storage, and integration patterns as the product surface and scale grow
Use AI both ways — daily as a development tool, and as a building block for product features

Sounds great! Am I the right fit?

You'll likely be a strong fit if you have:

5+ years building production server-side systems, with strong proficiency in Python
A track record of designing and operating production services at meaningful scale
Strong systems thinking - you reason about data flow, async behavior, and trade-offs across services
Hands-on AWS experience and comfort working across cloud-native infrastructure
AI-native development workflow - you use Cursor, Claude Code, or similar daily and have opinions on how to get the most out of them
Experience shipping features end-to-end in a cross-functional product team — backend-first, but comfortable in the frontend when a feature calls for it
A high bar for code quality and a default toward shipping things that are well-tested

Strongest candidates will have:

Production experience integrating LLMs or agent-based capabilities into real product features
Experience with event-driven, streaming, or real-time data architectures
Familiarity with on-chain data - wallet behavior, token transfers, multi-chain ingestion (EVM, Solana, Bitcoin, TRON, etc.)

You ship features end-to-end, with services that hold up under real production load.

Your AI-native workflow makes you visibly faster than 'classical' senior engineers, and the AI features you ship create value customers feel.

You collaborate well across the team - full stack, product, research - and take ownership from idea to production.
